A role like this is like a cake walk for her, and she was a perfect choice for the lead role. Sindhu Tulani has got a very good role in the film and she did justice for the role. The film also stars Sudigali Sudheer and Sapthagiri in the comic roles who tried to entertain. The glamour quotient was fulfilled by Swathi Deekshith and Sakshi Gulati.

The film was written by Ashok G. He happens to be the director of the film as well. We have already witnessed his writing skills in Pilla Zamindar and he maintains his own style. The director could have worked more on the film’s script and the dialogues are impressive in this movie.

Technical Aspects:
Balreddy does the cinematography of the film. Balreddy has shown the locations and visuals in an excellent manner. The camera work is exceptional in the film. The editing by Prawin Pudi is okay. Few unnecessary portions could be chopped off in the movie. The music scored by Selva Ganesh is not up to the mark, but a couple is pleasant to ears. The background score of the film is impressive. The production values of the film by Gangapatnam Sridhar are good.

It’s completely a one-woman show of Anjali in the movie. Anjali is perfect in the character of Chitrangada aka Chitra who is a psychology professor in a college. The story line is impressive. The introduction and elaboration on the paranormal activity kind of stuff and the lead protagonist heading towards the US to unravel the mystery behind her experiences have been presented nicely in the movie. The film has a total run time of 2.25 hours which could be chopped off a bit. The movie has its share of good and dull moments, but the comedy worked out at the right times. Both Sapthagiri and Sudigali Sudheer have impressed big time. The exciting, as well as thrilling aspects and also the comic elements, were well mixed into the film’s flow. The narration could also have been a bit different. On a whoole, Chitrangadha is an interesting thriller with some nice comic moments. A One time watch.
