Going by the ongoing buzz in film circles, megastar Chiranjeevi might play the role of stylish star Allu Arjun’s father in the Telugu remake of a Kannada film.
Reportedly, Allu Arjun and Chiranjeevi have been approached to reprise the roles of Puneeth Rajkumar and Ambareesh in the remake of yet-to-be-released Kannada movie “Doddmane Hudga”. It is slated for release on 30th September.
Despite the Kannada film is yet to hit theaters, makers of it are keen on remaking it in Telugu with the mega heroes. Makers feel that Allu Arjun and Chiru will perfectly suit for the roles of son and father originally essayed by Puneeth Rajkumar and Ambareesh. Makers generally plan remakes after the film becomes a hit in one language but “Doddmane Hudga” looks to be an exception.
If Chiru and Bunny agree for the remake, all the existing box office records will definitely be put to rest.
