Chiru in Delhi to discuss Cabinet berths for PR!

Tollywood Mega Star and Praja Rajyam leader Chiranjeevi went to Delhi to meet the Congress central party leaders and Sonia Gandhi for the discussions about merging the PR party and Cabinet berths for Praja Rajyam MLAs in the possible reshuffle of the ministry after the Budget session of the State Legislature.

Talking to the media at the New Delhi airport, Mr Chiranjeevi said that apart from his election campaign in Tamil Nadu for the Congress-DMK alliance, the issue of Praja Rajyam joining the Kiran Kumar Reddy Cabinet will also be discussed. He did not reveal details of the Cabinet berths his party is seeking.

He said he has come to Delhi at the invitation of the Congress central leadership and will be meeting political adviser to the Congress president, Mr Ahmed Patel, and Congress party affairs in-charge, Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad. He said he will not campaign in West Bengal and Kerala. The PR chief said the dates and venue of the meeting on the merger of the Praja Rajyam with the Congress party will be finalised only after getting confirmation from the Congress president, Mrs Sonia Gandhi. He said if time permits he will meet the Congress president too during his stay in Delhi.

Chiranjeevi will merge his party in Congress in the month of April third week it seems and Sonia Gandhi is also coming to Hyderabad while merging.
