A few days earlier, Tamil Nadu had a couple of burning issues. One of them is the Cauvery issue, while the state people are fighting over the water. There were a series of protests related to the Cauvery issue recently.
During the Indian Premiere League, Tamil Nadu people had protested against it. There were a number of people who were against the IPL, as they felt the priority things like Cauvery issue needed more focus than Cricket leagues etc. A mob also tried to show their protest by implementing rude ways. By conducting bandhs and rasta rokos there was a huge trouble caused. Director Gautham has been arrested, as he was one among the ones who pelted stones and attacked the police during the protest. The police are to question Gautham.
