The TDP’s gala event, Mahanadu started today in Gandipeta in the outskirts of Hyderabad today. The event would continue for three days i.e 27th, 28th and 29th.This is probably for the first time that the TDP has decided to not to talk of political issues and focus more on the people’s problems.
Rather than focusing too much on political affairs, the TDP has decided to deliberate more on issues of public concern like poverty alleviation, artisans problems, drinking water supply scenario, agriculture, rise in prices of essential commodities and health.
However though huge crowds came to the venue, the absence of the Nandamuri heroes like Balakrishna, NTR and Kalyan Ram is felt. The Nandamuri heroes are expected to go to the Karamchedu village in the Prakasam district tomorrow. This village is the birthplace of Daggubati Venkateswara Rao who is one of the son in law of senior NTR.
Apparently to target Chandrababu’s Mahanadu, Venkateswara Rao is conducting events in the Karamchedu and the Inkollu areas and the Nandamuri heroes would attend the events.However the Nandamuri heroes claim that they would attend the Mahanadu on the last day i.e 29th.
