Chal Mohan Ranga Review

Young hero and the talented heroine Megha Akash have joined hands for the second time for an romantic entertainer called Chal Mohan Ranga. After teaming up in the film Lie, the cute lead pair is now raising interest among the audiences. The theatrical trailer of Chal Mohan Ranga has already created a special buzz on the movie and the most interesting and surprising aspect of the film is that it is a joint production of powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas. S S Thaman has composed the music for the film and the audio album has impressed everyone. The movie is being made under Shresht movies banner in association with Pawan Kalyan creative works. Story:

The film’s story is regular. Because of the relationship conflicts, Mohan Ranga (Nithiin) and Megha (Megha Akash) opts out of confessing love to one another. How did both of them unite again with love forms the story of the movie.

Performances:

Nithiin and Megha Akash played the lead roles in the film. The chemistry worked out really well between the both. Megha Akash looked cute and her performance is beautiful. Nithiin has tried to come up with his best in the film and has portrayed a unique role in the movie. He is good in the role called Ranga and presented an energetic performance. Rao Ramesh, on the other side is good in his role while Prabhas Srinu tried to bring some comedy on the screen. Lissy, SR Naresh and others impressed too.

Writing department:

The story given by Trivikram Srinivas is routine. Though it is a routine story, Krishna Chaitanya has come up with his own style and tried to present it in an impressive manner. The writing is decent and has good sparks. The dialogues by Krishna Chaitanya are apt for every single scene and they are thought provoking too.

Technical Aspects:

The cinematography by Nataraja Subramanian is excellent. His way of using the colours is amazing. The editing by S R Shekar is good. The art by Raju Nair is amazing. The music by Thaman S is soulful. The re recording of the movie is also top notch. The choreography by Shekar is nice. The fights from Stunt Shiva as well as Ravi Varma are decent. All in all, the production values maintained by the producers are grand.

Verdict:

Chal Mohan Ranga is a film that is having a good dose for romance and comedy. The natural comedy is a major asset for the movie and almost all the scenes between the lead pair will entertain. The dialogues are really very good and will keep us engaged to the scenes. On a flip side, there are not many high moments in the movie and at the same time, the film progresses on a flat narration basis. The regular and routine story might be a big disappointment but the way of presenting it is certainly a positive aspect. On a whole, the film is worth a watch.
