Did you remember? Okkadu, if yes then you would have defiantly remembered Saahasam Swassaga Saagipo….song. This was song was once hummed by many. This song comes at a crucial scene when Mahesh and Bhoomika escape from Kurnool to Hyderabad while Prakash Raj chases them. Okkadu became a blockbuster and Mahesh became a Superstar. Now why are we discussing about this 2003 film? Well, not we, but Naga Chaitanya has made us to remember it once again.
Naga Chaitnaya’s next film is named as Saahasam Swassaga Saagipo, which will be directed by Gautam Menon. Gautam Menon loves to make his movie titles out of hit songs. Previously Nagachaitanya and Gautam’s ‘Ye Maya Chesavay” was taken from Okkadu’s super hit song Nuvvem maya chesavo gaani which turned out be the first big hit Chaitanya’s carrier.
Incidentally, Menon is also making the film in Tamil with Simbu in the lead and the title there is after the song Achcham yenbadhu madamaiyada. Kona Venkat will be the writer and Manjima Mohan will be playing the heroine opposite. The film teaser will be released on August 29th, which happens to be Nagarjuna’s birthday.
