Sunny Leone’s song is the main asset for “Current Theega” film. Manchu Manoj shared his past experiences while working for the flick. This actor was involved in all the activities including acting, direction, production and post production. In fact, the entire flick started with Manchu Manoj’s opinion of remaking Kollywood venture Varuthapadatha Valibhar Sangam.
Speaking about the tough situations the team encountered at the Censor Board, Manchu Manoj mentioned that the members of the Censor Board asked the film unit to cut Sunny’s item song to get U/A rating. It is known that the film unit spent 75 lakhs exclusively on the actress apart from another 25 lakhs around on the making of that song.
In this scenario, cutting that song will reduce the commercial value apart from 1 Crore around loss to the flick. Taking this into consideration, film unit went for A rating in spite of high tax. Now, this rating is working as a commercial promotion to the venture.
