After T government triggered the Cinema City project, AP government decided to take the lead on Mega Film City. Suresh Babu from Daggubati Family showed interest in establishing his studio in Vizag while majority of the big shots preferred Hyderabad.
In the last few days, even Seemandhra people in the film industry like Murali Mohan and Krishna showed interest on film industry establishment in Telengana. KTR met Suresh Babu and promised him the support from Telengana government for film city expansion. With the KTR – Suresh Babu discussion, the last hope for Andhra Pradesh’s Mega Film City too got shattered.
Now, AP government ministers are planning to bring back all the film makers to Vizag for the construction of new film city. “Will these film makers look ahead towards Vizag or will they move with the Cinema City proposal?” turned out to be the hot topic in Tollywood.
