After the disastrous result of ‘Akhil’, Akkineni Akhil took a long time to announce his second film.
After considering several directors, Nagarjuna has finally selected Vikram Kumar to direct Akhil’s 2nd film. A formal announcement regarding this has also been made. Now, it is heard that Bunny has set up this project.
Vikram was supposed to direct Bunny after ‘24.’ A story was also finalized. Meanwhile, Nag called up Vikram Kumar and asked if he had any stories ready and got impressed with a story which was prepared for Bunny. When Nag requested, Bunny is heard to have happily opted out and let Vikram direct Akhil instead. He moved on to act in a film to be directed by Harish Shankar.
Vikram Kumar and Akhil’s untitled project will go on floors in a month. Same is the case with Bunny’s ‘DJ’ with Harish Shankar.
