Spirituality is personal: Brahmanandam
King comedian Dr. Brahmanandam turned into a living example that Spirituality and God is purely personal and nothing to do with his profession. At the launch of his latest film as vital artiste at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad, today, Brahmanandam took part in the puja ceremony. He broke coconuts and gave harathi and also put a big kumkum mark on his forehead. Hero Sivaji also did the same thing.
After the puja, both had come to pose for the opening shot. At this point, Brahmanandam suddenly looked at the sky and exclaimed: " I have to remove kumkum! Isn’t it?" An assistant director said: "Okay sir, let it go." But, Brahmanandam immediately rubbed his forehead and the kumkum disappeared. He also asked hero Shivaji to do the same. The hero, saying, "Yes. Yes. You are right", did it. Such is the professionalism of Brahmanandam, who observed that spirituality was purely personal and should not be a blockade to professionalism.
