The Sriram Raghavan directorial dark, revenge drama, ‘Badlapur’ has not only been garnering critical reviews but is also working its charm at the Box-Office. On its opening weekend, Badlapur stood strong and collected around 24 crores at the domestic market.
The neo-noir drama about a grieved man who lost his family and seeks vengeance from the wrong-doers, Badlapur had a decent start on its Opening day. On Friday the movie collected around Rs. 7 crores, But by Saturday its collection went up by quite some percentage and the film gathered around 8.75 crores. On Sunday, when the nation was gripped in India-South Africa match, the film did quite well and collected 8.25 crores. Hence its overall weekend collection being Rs, 24 crores approximnately.
The film picked up well by the word of mouth and has been doing quite good at the Box Office. The film has a great star cast in terms of Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Divya Dutta, Vinay Pathak and Radhika Apte. More so it is packed with great acting and intriguing storyline.
