Vijay – Samantha starrer film “Kathi” which is now set to hit the theatres encountered tough time in few places of Tamil Nadu. Petrol bombs were thrown on few theatres in which this flick is expected to be screened. The reason for this attack is expected to be the revolt of Tamilians against Sri Lankan leaders.
It seems that one of the producers of “Kathi” happens out to be a close relative of Sri Lanka’s president, Mahindra Rajpakse. Tamilians believe that this leader is the main reason for the Civil War which happened in Sri Lanka in 2009. Few logos and the designs in this flick got revolt from Tamil audience.
Responding to this, film unit stated that they will change the logo and the designs accordingly. Theatres owners stated that they won’t stop the screening of this flick and they requested police protection. Charges were filed on the agitators who threw petrol bombs.
