Ever since Ellen DeGeneres set the famous trend of selfies since this year’s Oscars, practically everybody wants to do the same. Bollywood could not be well left behind with the tradition. At the recent IIFA Awards held at Tampa Bay, Bollywood posed for a selfie with none other than Hollywood’s Kevin Spacey.
Shahid Kapoor did the honours on stage while he clicked the selfie along with co host Farhan Akhtar, Kevin Spacey, Shatrughan Sinha, daughter Sonakshi Sinha, Luv Sinha and Anil Kapoor.
This happened moments after Sinha Senior was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Incidentaly, Kevin Spacey was also a part of the original Ellen DeGeneres Selfie that had Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence amongst others.
This year’s IIFA looks like a cut apart with Hollywood shaking legs with Bollywood, some midnblowing performances from the likes of Madhuri Dixit, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh etc. John Travolta dancing along with Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan for both English and Bollywood numbers and Kevin Spacey doing the Lungi Dance along with Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor has become a rage online.
IIFA has always set new sense of presentation, hosting and fashion with each progressing year.
