Fascination to grab the awards is seen rampant among Bollywood stars, irrespective of whether they are top or upcoming artists. Many stars desperately vie for awards and take part in inconsequential award functions throughout the year, in hope of getting awards one or the other way. However, there are few exceptions like Aamir Khan and Kangna Ranaut who openly criticize these award shows.
Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut, the National Award winning actress has yet again refused to accept the Best Actress award from the reputed Melbourne International Film Festival citing that she does not believe in such awards but she indicated that she will gladly attend the film festival for the screening of her recent blockbuster film ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. Kangana politely rejected the award saying that she does not accept such film awards even in India.
She has won National Film Awards for Fashion and Queen.
