Shortly after India losing in the final to Sri Lanka in the T 20 series this year, the angry Indian masses took to protesting against Yuvraj Singh on the social networks. The thing went ugly today when stones were pelted at Yuvraj;s house; demonstrating our resilience levels to accepting the failure as a team India.
Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Varun Dhawan along with others immediately took a stand for Yuvi, the star of Indian cricket. They lent support expressing their opinions via tweeting them.
“Ok..so we lost to SriLanka in the World Cup final T 20 tonight..yes disappointed, but proud of our team and our boys for reaching the final, against the best teams in the world..it was just not our day and the better team won..congratulations to Sri Lanka, who played really well” Big B tweeted.
Varun Dhawan, who is riding high with the success of Main Tera Hero, took a stand for Yuvraj Singh as soon as he heard about the ugly reaction from the masses that spurred hatred.
“Heard that people are throwing stones at Yuvi’s house. How stupid and immature. He’s an honest sportsman. Yuci won us the World Cup, he gave us happiness when he was still having cancer. How can people forget that. How can people be so daft in cricket you sometimes lose and sometimes win just agree that Lanka played better today ” He tweeted.
