Vinayak is a very renowned director in Tollywood for his out and out commercial cinemas. Hus movies are always watchable and have and enough comedy that every Telugu audience can enjoy. In the appearance, he doesn’t seem like a director who directs star heroes or work with big producers. He always carries his very own style of smile and stays cool, which differentiates him from his competitors.

He made his film debut as a director with “Aadi” in 2002. This movie stars Jr.NTR and Keerthi Chawla in the lead roles. This film was the first commercial hit for NTR. “Aadi” was a huge success and stood top collector in 2002.

With such a powerful debut, Vinayak directed “Chennakesava Reddy” which saw Nandamuri Balakrishna as the lead hero. This film also turned out to be a huge hit and stood as a milestone in Balakrishna’s career. In 2003, he directed “Dil” with hero Nithin. It also turned out to be hit and made Vinayak a hat trick director. This film’s title had also become the name of producer “Dil” Raju.

Then came “Tagore”. This film starred Mega Star Chiranjeevi as the hero. “Tagore” points out the corruption that is prevailing in the society and how it is affecting the country. This film is termed as one of the blockbusters in Telugu Cinema and Chiranjeevi’s career.

In over all, V.V.Vinayak directed fourteen straight film in Telugu. Among those were Aadi, Chennakeshava Reddy, Dil, Tagore, Bunny, Lakshmi, Krishna, Adhurs and Naayak were hits. And movies like Samba, Yogi, Badrinatha and Alludu Sreenu were flops.

With such film’s in his profile V.V.Vinayak became the top director in Tollywood and south cinema. Vinayak knows the basic pulse of a mass audience and pitches his film’s basing on them. He only directs mass movies- is a wrong statement. His films also have a lot portion of comedy.

“Adhurs” “Krishna” “Bunny” are few of his films that gave more importance to comedy than mass elements. These also turned out to be good money collectors at the box-office.

Now, V.V. Vinayak has directed his latest flick “Akhil.” This film is the debut film of Akkineni Akhil. Being produced by Vinayak’s “Dil” hero Nithin, Akhil will be releasing on 21st of October.

Akhil’s father, hero Nagarjuna believed that only Vinayak can justify Akhil’s debut and has handed over the responsibility to him. V.V.Vinayak, in his usual way, has made this film with action elements, in addition to this, rumours also have that this film has a fantasy story hidden in it.

Very well then, let’s see how this mass director makes this film?

Chitramala wishes V.V.Vinayak a very happy birthday.
