Yesterday morning we heard the news that maverick director Ramgopal Varma’s new project titled "Bezawada Rowdeelu" shooting has been stopped by the Vijayawada city Police. But, later Ramgopal Varma stated in a press meet that no one stopped the shooting in Vijayawada and we have completed the shooting schedule in Vijayawada already and moved to Hyderabad for further shooting there. The movie shooting will completes by August and movie will be released on the occasion of Vijaya Dasami.
The film shooting was started in Vijayawada on May 12th, which irked several leaders in the city, and they demanded to stop the movie, as the movie’s content is too controversial and might lead to fresh violence.
Naga Chaitanya is playing the main lead role and the buzz is Genelia is under consideration for the female lead role opposite to Naga Chaitanya in this flick.
The movie is a story of group fights that happened 20 years ago in Vijayawada. The film is being directed by a debutant director Vivek Krishna. Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru are jointly producing this film on Shreya Productions Banner. Vanditha Koneru is presenting it. Music is scoring by Amar Mehle.
