London: A Moroccan belly dancer at the centre of Silvio Berlusconi sex scandal was just 16 when she was paid for sex, according to Milan prosecutors.
The claims were made after they closed an investigation they had launched into Berlusconi, 74, and his infamous `bunga bunga` parties, reports a newspaper.
The phrase is said to refer to an after dinner sex game in which female guests were encouraged to take part during parties held at the media tycoon`s house.
Prosecutors have already charged Berlusconi with having underage sex with belly dancer Karima El Mahroug and initially they said they believed she was 17 but they now say she was just 16.
In Italy the age of consent is 14 but paying a girl under 18 for sex is deemed as prostitution and carries a maximum three-year prison sentence.
