Last year, a bunch of Kollywood films released at the box-office and have become hits. Ratsasan is one among the films which had Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul in the lead roles. The film is getting remade in Telugu now with Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in the lead role.
Ramesh Varma who earlier directed the films Ride and Veera is directing this project and the pre-production work for the film is currently in progress. The makers are considering Rakshasudu as the title for the movie. The makers felt that the project is going to be an apt one for the movie.
On the other side, the shoot of the film will begin once Bellamkonda is free from the works of his next film Sita. More details about the project will be out soon.
