Among the emperors who ruled India in the ancient period, Telugu warrior king Gauthamiputhra Satakarni is credited for commencing Rajasuya Yagam, which was a sacrificial Yagnam adorned by Hindu emperors in particular.

Tollywood director Krish, who is currently making a film on the life of Gauthamiputra Satakarni, is said to be shooting the pivotal Yagnam sequences in Madhya Pradesh. Balakrishna, Hema Malini, Shriya and various other pivotal actors are said to be part of this crucial part of the film.

Rajasuya Yagam was not depicted in any Indian film so far. If Krish can successfully bring that unseen golden era onto the silver screen, the film is sure to stand as one of the milestones not only in Tollywood but also in Indian cinema history.
