Nandamuri Balakrishna is another top star after Chiranjeevi to try his luck in politics. He was actively participated in Telugu Desam party general election campaigns in 2009 elections. Now NBK is planning to turn full time politician from 2014. He also made a statement on Yesterday, saying that He is going to contesting in 2014 elections on behalf of Telugu Desam Party.
"I will even contest from one of the assembly constituencies in the next general elections" announced Balakrishna when speaking to the reporters at Anantapur on Sunday, September 11, 2011. He has also made it clear that he will join politics in 2014 and will continue doing movies till then. Sources say that NBK is going to contest from Hindupur assembly seat in 2014 elections.
Earlier, Megastar Chiranjeevi enteretd politics just before elections and introduced his own party called ‘Praja Rajyam’ and made many promises to serve AP’s citizens. Unable to run his party, later he merged ‘Praja Rajyam’ into then ruling party Congress. Let’s see how Baalaiah makes his time in politics.
Presently NBK is working on two movies – Parachuri Murali’s film and Bellamkonda Suresh’s film, and both the movies are expected to hit the screens next year. On the other hand, movie ‘Sri Ramarajyam’ is ready for release.
