It was on November 12, 2013 that veteran actor Augustine passed away due to physical ailments and almost half a year later, his now married daughter and actress Ann wished him fond a birthday wish to the heavens on her Facebook Page on his birthday, April 7th.
From the depth of the words she wrote, it is evident to anyone , the kind of beautiful relationship this father and daughter shared. This is what it said:
“Happy Birthday Achaa!!!I hope you are having the best celebration ever in heaven! But always remember that i miss u & there is not even a day that i dont cry for u! Cant beleive u left me alone that i forgot to be myself without you!I soo wish that God give me a chance to talk to u once more just to know you are safe & happy back there!”
Ann married cinematographer Jomon T. John after her father’s passing and it was director Renjith who accompanied her to the wedding in her dad’s place. She has taken time off from acting and is focusing on her new life.
Quite understandably, it is taking Ann quite a while to come to terms with her father’s death and on this occasion, Mollywood too solemnly remembers the beloved actor who entertained us for decades through many memorable roles.
