Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat was reportedly assaulted by three masked intruders in her apartment in Paris.
According to the reports published in French newspapers, the three masked men sprayed tear gas at Sherawat and her male friend before landing continuous punches on them, soon after they arrived to her apartment on 11th November. The attackers, believed to be robbers, then ran away without saying anything.
A shocked Mallika Sherawat and her friend immediately called the emergency service. Sherawat had to get treatment after sustaining heavy blows on her face. Mallika hasn’t yet made any official statement on this. A criminal investigation has reportedly been launched.
It may be noted that this attack happened barely a month after reality TV star Kim Kardashian was attacked in a similar fashion in the same vicinity.
