Anushka, Rana and Allu Arjun starrer Rudhramadevi has cleared all obstacles of postponements and is hitting on 9th of October in Telugu. Whereas the Tamil version has a different scenario, in Tamil, this film will be releasing a week later.
In Detail: Gunashekar’s historical 3D film “Rudhramadevi” is scheduled to release in other languages on the 9th as earlier announced. But in Tamil the movie will be released on 16th of October due to Vijay’s fantasy adventure “Puli.”
Thenandal Films that distributed “Puli” are also distributing “Rudhramadevi” in Tamil. Though Vijay’s “Puli” gained an average talk, collections turned out to be well at the box-office. To continue its collections, distributors postponed Rudhramadevi for a week. Since both the films are made on a huge budget and have technical aspects, distributors thought that 9th release will affect both the Rudhramadevi and Puli collections.
To avoid such completion distributors came up this plan of postponing the Tamil and releasing Rudhramadevi on 16th of October.
Rudhramadevi is directed by Gunashekar and is termed as India’s First Historical 3D Stereoscopic film. Apart from Tamil this movie will be releasing on 9th of October in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
