2010 released ‘Yem Maaya Chesave’ not only became a super hit but also left a great impact on the audience. The movie gave the first success to both Naga Chaitanya and Samantha who later emerged as stars in the industry. The film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the movie got released in Tamil as ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa’ starring Simbu and Trisha in the lead roles. It has been nearly 8 years since the release and the director is planning to release a sequel to that romantic love story.
As per the reports, Simbu is going to play the lead in the Tamil version. If the buzz is to be believed, then Anushka is going to play the female lead in the film. After Bhaagamathie, the ‘Baahubali’ actress hasn’t signed any project. So, then there is a talk that she is on board for the sequel film. Also, there are rumours that Anushka gave her nod to Gautham Menon’s project. We still have to wait and see who is going to play the leads in Telugu version.
