Telugu film industry is sometimes director drive industry. The people here won’t really recognize the true importance of the writers. One such writer has now come forward to reveal his inner feelings. Writer Diamond Ratnam who is known for his works on dialogues in films like Seema Sastry, Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam and upcoming Intlo Deyyam Nakenti Bhayyam, has opened up about people giving over hype and showing over craze to the film directors. He has spoken his mind out regarding the ‘director blasting.’
“Everyone knows who directed the super hit film Baahubali, but none know who wrote the dialogues of the film. If the director is captain of the ship, then the writer is a compass. The writer should also deserve to be honored equally with the director.” said Diamond Ratnam in a recent interview. Already there is a talk in the industry that writers are not given due recognition, and it is the reason for writers turning directors.
