Hyderabad Metro Rail Project (HMRL) has now targeted the Annapurna Studios owned by Akkineni Nagarjuna. As per reports, the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) authorities seek half an acre of the seven acres of land belonging to Annapurna Studios.
Recently Khairatabad MLA Chinthala Ramachandra Reddy has personally met Nagarjuna to discuss the land acquisition.
The Metro Rail authorities could use this half acre land either for the railway line purpose or for providing properties for those who would lose their lands due to the passing of the metro rail along the route.
Even though Nagarjuna first refused to part away his land, he is forced by political biggies. It is heard that the actor is planning to meet Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to ask for compensation for giving away the land.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is busy with his upcoming film “Soggade Chinni Nayana”, which is hitting the big screens worldwide on this month.
