Suriya’s Anjaan is gearing up as one of the biggest releases this season and the fans are biting their nails hard in anticipation of this one. But now here’s some breaking news that’s going to add to all that excitement!
Anjaan is actually releasing on August 14th, not the 15th as was earlier advertised!
Now hold on… you guys and girls in India will not get to see it though. Yes, that’s right – the premiere of Anjaan to be held on the 14th is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia only!
The Indian fans will have to wait another day to see the flick on the big screens. While that is a disappointment, you could look at it another way. Surely, the first reviews of the film will hit the social media one day ahead of actual release date!
Not that there is much of a chance of this one being a dud though. Far from it, Anjaan is promised to be a rocking 170-minute running time of entertainment.
The film, in spite of being a gangster saga, managed to grab a clean U certificate from the censor board a few days back and that means the whole family can have a good time with this Lingusamy venture.
N Lingusamy has directed this of course but he is also the producer, under the banner of his company Thirupathi Brothers, in association with UTV Motion Pictures.
The movie stars Suriya in dual roles and has the lovely Samantha in the female lead. The supporting cast includes Manoj Bajpai, Vidyut Jamwal and Dalip Tahil among others.
Anjaan’s dubbed version in Telugu, titled Sikandar, comes out a few days later – possibly on August 22nd.
