Kanakala Family contribute a lot to the film industry, Devdas Kanakala who is an actor cum film institute head contribute his part in building up many artists. He along with his wife Lakshmi Devi Kanakala ran film institute from 1980’s.
Their son Rajeev Kanakala is one of the prominent actors on big screen and their daughter & daughter-in-law Sri Lakshmi & Suma ruling the small screen. Suma is one of the most demanded anchors for hosting the audio & pre-release events.
However, Devdas Kanakala wife left her last breath on today morning at a private hospital in Hyderabad. She was 78, suffering from some health-related issues from past couple of months.
She also acted in a couple of films & Television serials. She also worked as a teacher in film training institute.
Many celebs are visiting Kanakala’s house to pay last respects to Lakshmi.
