Indian film Industry, Bollywood mega star Amitabh Bachchan is set to visit Ajmer Sharif, in the northwestern Indian state Rajasthan, to untie a sacred thread that he had tied 40 years ago.
The actor, who is set to become a grandfather soon, said he decided to make the trip after a long-wished prayer came true. His recent release ‘Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap’ also did well at the box office, says he has enough reasons to thank the God.
"On my way to Ajmer Sharif …was there almost 40 years ago .. so much has changed since for me ..reason enough to thank and pray," Bachchan wrote on Twitter.
"To fulfill a ‘mannat’ (wish) made more than 40 years ago .. to untie a ‘dhaga’ that I had tied!," he added.
When questioned by fans whether it was for the grandchild, Bachchan wrote, "People asking if ‘mannat’ is for grandchild ..NO ! use your sense .. 40 years ago I will ask this mannat?? silly… its personal (sic)."(PTI)
