The Shoojit Sircar’s directorial venture which brings greats like Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan together on the silver screen, Piku, has finally wrapped up its shooting schedule. And look who is disheartened? It is none other than Big B.
Amitji is extremely social, is known for putting his thoughts into words and publishes them on blogs and social networks. It so happened, that Shehenshah of tinselville put up an emotional status saying that he misses shooting for the beautiful film, which is a very different take on father-daughter relationship. It reads, “T 1778 – And meeting up with the lovely Deepika and the talented Irfan .. wanted to start shooting again for ‘Piku’ .. but its all over !”
A film’s journey becomes even more special when the co-stars bond well with each other. It is quite cute to see the legendary actor being so articulate about his feelings. The film’s shooting leg is all complete and the first look should make its way to us soon.
Slated to release on April 30th,2015, Piku is shot extensively in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and Varanasi. It is said to be a very different story and we sure are putting our bets on this one!
