Amara Kaaviya, which has been touted as an epic saga of love, is already famous for being the first venture of actor Arya as a producer. He is bankrolled the film under the banner of his company, The Show People. Apart from this, the flick also launches his brother Sathya in to Kollywood as a leading man.
Mia George, who is a Mollywood actress, will also be making her first foray in to Tamil cinema with this one. The film has been directed by Jeeva Shankar of Naan fame, and the music of the film has been composed by Ghibran.
As if all these factors were not enough to build some hype for this film, the audio launch of the movie saw many top heroines from the industry in attendance and caused further rumours due to the absence of Anushka Shetty and Tapsee, who were also invited.
Well, now the big day is finally fast approaching and the movie’s team have announced an official release date – September 5th, 2014!
Now those who have been following the movie’s progress wait with bated breath to see if the expectations built up by several soaring recommendations, are matched by this movie. The most notable of things that happened which was in news, was that an initial screening of the film some time back had moved the debutant producer Arya to tears.
“I feel proud to have produced such a movie, and if this is any indication of things to come, I would love to make more movies like this one,” Arya had said then.
So let us see if Amara Kaaviyam will live up to its name…
