1971 – Beyond Borders is the Malayalam movie that has Mohanlal in the lead. Major Ravi directed this movie which released last year in Malayalam. Allu Sirish also played a key role in the movie. The film did not do well at the box office and the makers are now coming up with the Telugu dubbed version for the theatrical release.
The makers titled the movie as Yuddha Bhoomi in Telugu. AN Balaji is the producer of the movie. The makers revealed that the director earlier worked in the Army and came up with the story basing on his experiences. The film’s story happens during Indo-Pak war that took place in 1971. The patriotic elements in the film are said to be a major highlight.
The film is gearing up for a grand release on June 22nd.
