Allu Arjun is presently busy shooting for Harish Shankar directing Duvvada Jagannadham. He already has huge market and popularity in Kannada, Malayalam and with his 18th film which marks production number 12th for Studio Green, Bunny is foraying into Tamil cinema. They have announced details of the film in a press meet in Chennai.
Veteran actor Sivakumar heaped praises on AlluArjun and he wished him all success for his Tamil debut.
Allu Arjun considers himself a localite says Madras is an integral part of his life. “The kick you get when you are in a place you consider your home is priceless. I wanted a fitting and straight film for my launchpad in Tamil. I was born and brought up here,” said Allu Arjun who surprised everyone by speaking fluently in Tamil. He thanked Gnanavel and Linguswamy for launching him in Tamil.
Gnanavel said that he was planning to produce the film from long time. He feels proud finally to get the chance to launch Allu Arjun in Tamil.
Director Linguswami said, “Allu Arjun is one of the most energetic and hard working stars I’ve ever met. Tamil Nadu likes his acting, especially his dances. I always wanted to make a good film with Allu Arjun, and it has finally materialized now.”
Details of other technicians will be announced soon. The film’s regular shooting will commence from February end or in March of 2017.
