Despite being a star kid, Superstar Mahesh Babu faced a lot of ups and downs in his career. The actor had to create his own path to success and the end result is the immense stardom and fan following he has right now. He made his debut in 1999 but if things worked out, he would’ve have made it in 1994 itself.
Apparently, Mahesh was the initial choice for the lead role in Ali’s Yamaleela. Ali himself revealed the news in a recent interview. He said that director SV Krishna Reddy once narrated the Yamaleela script to Krishna during a flight journey and expressed his desire to launch Mahesh as lead actor with it.
But Krishna gently turned down the offer and said that Mahesh will make his debut in the film only after he gets done with his studies. Thus, the film landed in the hands of Ali. Then, the film has become a blockbuster and remained as the biggest hit in the career of him.
