For the past few years, Balayya has been planning and discussing with several filmmakers to launch his son Mokshagna in Tollywood. There were reports that Mokshagna will act in one of Balayya’s upcoming films. Boyapati was also in a race to launch Mokshagna. But, latest reports suggest that Balayya has decided to postpone his son’s launch and permit him to foray into Telugu film industry only after availing himself of complete training in acting and other filmmaking aspects.
The failure of Nagarjuna Akkineni’s younger son Akhil’s debut film ‘Akhil’ seems to have forced Balayya to take this decision. Because of the high profile launch, ‘Akhil’ had astounding pre-release buzz but it utterly failed to live up to the expectations. So Balayya doesn’t want to repeat the same mistake in Mokshagna’s case and wants to take his time even if he has to wait for few more years.
