This is what the beautiful actress had to confess to the media, and of course she was talking about their on screen relationship in the Thala 55 movie! Trisha is currently filming for the flick, and she plays Ajith’s wife and the mother of their daughter in the highly anticipated film.
Though the movie is an all out action thriller, she says the plotline with her and Ajith in it is an intensely romantic one and also quite a refreshing experience for her. She had worked previously in three other films with Ajith and the eminently memorable hit Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya with Gautham Menon.
In fact, she drew a comparison between her role in the Simbu starrer and her new one, and said,” Like Jessie my new character too is very distinct and unique in her own way.”
Evidently not just a pretty face, eye candy role like most mass entertainers employ female actors as. And let’s not forget, Trish is just one of the leading ladies in the film – Anushka Shetty also has a romantic tryst with Ajith, plotwise that is…
So things do look rather bright for Trisha as far as her role goes, but what about the working experience in the hugely hyped project?
“I have an innate comfort level working with Gautham. I trust him absolutely with any and all decision making as the director.” Trisha stated and adding a few sweet words about the mass hero she said, “This one is very reminiscent of how we worked together in Kireedom all those years ago. He still looks amazing and though he has been making these mass entertainers for a while now, I think the fans will love him, as I do, in this new avatar.”
Thala 55, as the fans call it, is progressing fast and aims for a Diwali release. Harris Jayaraj is composing the tunes for the film and Dan Macarthur is wielding the camera.
