Anushka Sharma has borne the brunt of social media trolls during the World Cup 2015, extensively. But looks like, trolls about the damsel are back in full-swing.
When the nation was mourning the sad demise of former President and Indian Missile Man, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, on July 27th, Sharma too wanted to pay her homage to the Indian Pride. Only this time, while tweeting, Anushka made a minor-major mistakes. Minor in terms of spelling and major in terms of spelling Dr.Kalam’s name wrong.
She tweeted, “Very sad to hear about the passing of ABJ Kalam Azad. Loss of an inspiring visionary and a wonderful soul. May his soul RIP.”
In the first attempt, she misspelled the name. She corrected her tweet and wrote, “Very sad to hear about the passing of APJ Kalam Azad. Loss of an inspiring visionary and a wonderful soul. May his soul RIP.”
But what she didn’t notice was a major blunder. She corrected the spelling from ABJ to APJ, but just didn’t notice that she made a blooper by mixing Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and Freedom fighter Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad’s names and writing APJ Kalam Azad.
It was the third time that finally, Anushka got it right and she tweeted, “Very sad to hear about the passing of APJ Abdul Kalam . Loss of an inspiring visionary and a wonderful soul .May his soul RIP.”
In three attempts, Anushka got her tweet right, but she even gave her trollers three times the opportunity to make her the butt of the jokes. The Twitterati instantly picked up Anushka’s erring and there were viral tweets about it.
Dear Anushka, maybe next time trying proofreading the tweets!
