Over a week after the Enforcement Directorate ordered confiscation of Pakistan singer Adnan Sami’s properties, his ex-wife Sabah Galadari on Sunday tried to enter one of the flats at Oberoi Sky Gardens, Lokhandwala that culminated in a police complaint against the singer for preventing her from stepping in.
Sabah filed a non-cognizable complaint against Sami at Oshiwara police station on Sunday. Sabah complained that she had tried to enter her flat at Oberoi Sky Gardens building in Lokhandwala pursuant to an order of the Bombay High Court that had allowed her to go there. "But Adnan prevented her, citing the ED order."
The ED had confiscated the property saying Sami being a Pakistani national was not permitted to acquire properties in India.
