But Aditya Pancholi, the handsome baddie of the 90’s is all set to make a splash again.
Reportedly, Aditya Pancholi will play the villain’s role in “Bajirao Mastani“.
The film is directed by the maverick film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
A source reveals, “Bhansali met Aditya in his Juhu office yesterday afternoon. The actor who reached on time for the meeting, did not know the offer Bhansali was about to make. He not only offered Aditya the role, but also conducted a look test on him, complete with wigs, make-up and costumes. The modalities are now being worked out.”
Aditya last memorable onscreen turn came three years ago in “Dum Maro Dum” where he played a druglord. He has since been relegated to small roles in films like “Jai Ho” and “Dishkiyaoon”.
Bajirao Mastani is currently in the pre-production stage and will go on floors this November.
Aditya remained unavailable for comment.
