AD numbers drop with US collections

Contrary to what was predicted by the likes of Taran Adarsh and the Power Star fans, Attarintiki Daredi started plummeting sadly with respect to its overseas collections in United States after the second week. The Pawan Kalyan starrer created havoc all over with greatest response ever post its release and collected the maximum amount in United States alone, after just three days of its release. This led the trade pundits to lay a close eye on the film, predicting breaking records. Compared to SVSC and Dookudu that collected $203K and $286K respectively, AD collected $199K after the second week. There are talks floating that a HD quality pirated version of the film has been leaked online last Sunday that could have affected the numbers. The fact that there are no repeat audience like what we saw for Dookudu also could have contributed to the drop. Let us hope to see some great numbers with local collections shortly
