27-year-old Malayalam actress Neethu Krishna Vasu and two others were arrested by the Chennai police on August 25th for producing forged documents to obtain Visa for US.
As per report, Neethu, who has acted in the Malayalam movie ‘Celebrations’ (2014), went to US Consulate in Chennai for a Visa interview. Justin Thomas and P Subash were accompanying her. The trio submitted forged documents including a fake wedding invitation card claiming that they wish to go to US for a dance performance at the wedding ceremony. In no time, the officials found that the invitation card was fake one. A case was registered and they were arrested immediately.
It was during the investigation that the trio confessed to their crime and added that a producer named Raju from AP and Kunjumon from Kerala promised good income to them for dancing at a marriage in US. They even collected Rs 2 lakh from Neethu for processing the visa formalities. Police launched a search operation to nab these two.
