Bala got married on 27th August 2010 to Idea Star Singer fame Amrita Suresh in Chennai.The wedding ceremony took place at the famous Thiruvanmiyur Siva Temple around 12.30 pm.
Since the function was in Chennai, majority of the Malayalam actors could not turn up.A grand reception is arranged in Kochi on September 5 for the friends and colleagues in Kerala.
