The entire Telugu Industry was left shocked and shaken yesterday after the sudden demise of actor Srihari in Mumbai. The ‘Sher Khan’ was shooting for his next film, ‘Rambo Rajkumar’, in Mumbai, when he complained of uneasiness. He was promptly rushed to Lilavati Hospital where after an ongoing treatment, the actor succumbed to his last. The 49 year old was known to be ailing with a liver condition since quite some time, say his nearest sources. After repeated warnings to take a break from work and rest, he did not quite follow that seriously. The actor was last spotted at the audio function of Thoofan, where he conspicuously looked unhealthy and pale. Srihari is known to be a very humble and humane person in real life, who has adopted close to five villages in Medak district. His foundation, Akshara, named after his deceased child, is actively into charitable activities. Srihari made many friends and touched many hearts with his good nature. The film fraternity is in a state of shock and sadness, and the film lovers, lost for words over this huge loss. Srihari is survived by his wife Shanti and his two sons.
Srihari started his career as a fight master and went on become a versatile actor who played comedy, negative and character roles. He met his wife, actress Shanti in the course of his career, fell in love and married her. He is well known for his roles as ‘Shankar Anna’ in Dhee and ‘Sher Khan’ in Magadheera. There will definitely be a huge vacuum after his demise, as he was one of the most talented character artist who fit into any role with ease.
