Manikarnika is the latest Bollywood movie that released on the occasion of Republic Day. The film is the biopic of Queen of Jhansi – Lakshmi Bhai. Krish Jagarlamudi took up the project and directed it but because of the shoot of NTR Kathanayakudu, he came out of the project and Kangana Ranaut took over the movie. She played the title role and also directed the movie.
The film was in several controversies until the time of the film’s release. Kangana participated in the promotions with out Krish and spoke a lot of things about how she worked hard in making the movie. Kangana is taking full credit for the film’s direction by saying that the film which is in the theatres is not the actual version that Krish directed but she made a lot of changes to it and released it.
Krish, finally broke his silence saying that it is not good on Kangana’s part to steal the credit from him. He explained all the reasons behind quitting the project and called Kangana’s statements as hurting. Krish even said that he received only 30 percent remuneration for the work he has done for the movie.
