57th South Filmfare Awards scheduled to be hosted on August 7

Filmfare Awards South is the South Indian segment of the annual Filmfare Awards, and are given for films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada language films from India.

The Film fare Awards would be presented to the winners at a grand ceremony in Chennai in August. Check out the shortlisted nominees for various categories in South Indian films.

57th Film fare Awards this year will be held on August 7, in Chennai.

Telugu Nominees :

Best Hero Nominees : Allu Arjun (arya2), Kamal Hasaan (Eenadu), Prabhas (Ek..Niranjan), Ram Charan (Magadheera), Ravi Teja (kick)

Tamil nominees:

Best hero Nominees :Arya (Naan Kadavul), Jayam Ravi(Peranmai), Kamal Hasaan(Unnai Pol Oruvan), Prakash raj(Kanjeevaram), Surya(Ayan).

Best actress nominees are Tamanna (Kanden Kadhalai), Sneha (Achamundu Achamundu), Pooja (Naan Kadavul), Padmapriya (Pokkisham) and Shreya Reddy (Kanjeevaram).

Malayalam nominees:

Best Hero Nominees: Dileep (Swonthom Lekhakan), Jayaram(Bhagyadevatha), Mammooty (Paleri Manikyam) Mohanlal(Ividom Sworgamanu) Prithviraj (robinhood).

Famous directors like Priyadarshan, Rajamouli, Hariharan and Guru Prasad have been nominated for the awards in the Best Directors category, which include films like National Award winning ‘Kancheevaram’ and ‘Pazhassiraja’ among others.
