The Khan’s contribution to this phenomenon shall be a noted one. Their film’s that released in the past two years were all blockbuster’s. With each and every film’s release of Khan’s, the revenue has become bigger and better. They who occupied the 200Cr, 500Cr, 600cr clubs will someday reach the four digit mark. It doesn’t take much time for the Khan’s to do this feat, as we might be able to witness this numbers by next year.
Yes, the Khan’s are getting ready with their films and are sure of blazing big this time. Aamir, Salman, and Shah Rukh are all busy in their films that are hitting the theaters very soon. Fans across the globe are eagerly waiting to watch them do magic onscreen. If someone has a romantic story the other has a thriller and the other has a biopic to tell. Let’s look at the Khans’ upcoming films that are sure of blowing your mind.
1.) Aamir Khan (Dangal): Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan this time is involved into the biopic of a wrestler. Nitesh Tiwari is directing this sports drama. This film has a different story line compared to other films. When speaking of a biopic, biopic film solely depends upon a singular character and focuses on events that are involved in the character, while Dangal is different from this.
Aamir’s character in Dangal is inspired after Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Geeta Phogat was India’s first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (52 kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (55 kg).
Since he is portraying the character of a father who is also a wrestler, Aamir has gained a huge amount of weight and got trained intensively for a perfect outfit. This film that portrays how Mahavir Singh stood as an inspiration to his daughters has a good expectation.
Dangal is said to be released in the December of coming year.
2.) Salman Khan (Sultan): Bollywood Super Star Salman Khan, who mesmerized the audience and fans this year with Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, will now focus on his next film Sultan, which happens to be wrestling based movie. This film is said to be a biopic of Haryana Kesari Sultan.
Interestingly there is much news going about this film. Since Aamir too doing a wrestling movie and Salman Khan doing the same genre, competition between these two stars is definite. Sultan will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar while YRF Films is the producer. On the other hand, Salman Khan has announced that ‘Sultan’ will come to theaters in the month of Eid 2016, which also happens to be the same month of Shah Rukh’s Raees.
With the film about to begin its shooting, Salman Khan is all prepared from his looks to costumes that appear in the movie.
3.) Shah Rukh Khan (Dilwale, Fan, Raees): While Aamir and Salman has one film each in the coming year, their close friend Shah Rukh Khan is way too faster than them. This year Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Dilwale’ will be releasing while two other films of his-namely ‘Fan’ and ‘Raees’ will come next year.
Dilwale: Dilwale is a Romantic Drama directed by Rohit Shetty. This film has once again saw the superhit Jodi of Bollywood Shah Rukh-Kajol. Along with SRK and Kajol, there are also Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Rohit Shetty, who has never seen a flop, is on a mission to make this film the biggest hit in Shah Rukh’s career. On the other hand, the DDLJ magic is an additional asset. Dilwale will release on 18th of December.
Fan: ‘Fan’ is a different film from all other Shah Rukh Kahn’s films. In this emotional drama, Shah Rukh has a dual role, one of a superstar while the other a fan of the superstar. This film is said to have intense emotions running throughout the film. Fan is directed by Maneesh Sharma. 15th April 2016 is the day of ‘Fan.’
Raees: If you are a diehard fan of Shah Rukh’s ‘Don’ series, then Raess will be the treat for you. Raees is crime thriller film directed by Rahul Dholakia. This film will be set in 1980’s of Gujarat where a cruel and clever badass bootlegger prevails. The film criticizes the prohibition of alcohol, prostitution, and illegal drugs in Gujarat. This aged thriller will be releasing in the coming year.
