After ‘Kumari 21F’ movie, hot beauty Heebah Patel is coming up with another such bold movie ’24 Kisses’. The title itself has stirred up a controversy and the theatrical trailer, teaser of the movie has attracted the youth. The film is directed by Ayodhyakumar Krishnamsetty. Adith Arun played the main lead. Touted to be a new-age drama, the film deals with relationships of this generations. The promotional material created a good positive buzz around the film. The movie unit has pinned so many hopes on the flick. Let’s check out the review of the movie.
The story runs around Anand (Adith Arun) who works as a children’s filmmaker. He is not interested in marriage and doesn’t want to get married ever. One day he falls in love with Sri Lakshmi (Hebah Patel) and starts to be in a relationship. However, things fall apart when Sri Lakshmi also falls for him. After knowing about his commitment issues and ideology about marriage, she breaks up with him. Did Anand change? How he tried to bring back his lady love? What happens in the end? Forms the crux of the story.
Adith Arun looked handsome in the movie. His role undergoes so many changes throughout the movie and the actor has showcased each and every emotion really well. He has improved a lot when compared to his previous movies and delivered a matured performance. Heebah Patel looked stunning in the movie. Not only in the bold scenes, but the actress also did well in the emotional scenes as well. Her performance can be considered as one of the highlights in the movie. Rao Ramesh is definitely the show stealer with his spectacular performance. His dialogue delivery is intense and he delivered a good performance in the movie.
Senior actor Naresh also played a vital role in the movie and he justified his character really well. Aditi Myakal looked cute in the flick and did a decent job. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.
Just as the makers highlighted the dosage of bold content is actually high in the film. Surprisingly, the story has nothing special other than the adult content. The script the film has a few twists and turns and the director failed to impress the audience with his narration. Sanjay Reddy, Anil Pallala and director Ayodhya Kumar Krishnamsetty bankrolled this project and produced great production values. It is evident that they haven’t compromised in terms of the budget and the production values are really good. Music by Joi Barua highlighted the emotions well. More than the songs, the background music is quite impressive. Cinematography by Uday Gurrala is up to the mark. He produced some great visuals which will be eye-feast for the audience. Editing by Aalayam Anil could have been better. The runtime is crisp.
The direction of Ayodhyakumar Krishnamsetty is horrible. He tried to stuff a social message in the movie and lace it with bold scenes and utterly failed in the narration. There are some scenes in the film which will make the audience want to leave the theatres. The first half has nothing else other than kissing. There is nothing special in the pre-interval scene as well. The second half discusses the malnourished poor children and one will wonder why the director only highlighted the bold content when the thing he wants to say is far different from that. Overall, ’24 Kisses’ is a boring movie which can be skipped.
