As part of the promotions, the makers have unveiled the trailer of the new song from the film 2 States; Chaandaniya.
Composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and sung by K Mohan and Yashita Sharma, the song is a soulful rendition of love, separation and pain that comes with it. The song features the lead pair Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, apparently separated due to their jobs and newer avenues in life. Alia looks cute as a South Indian girl while Arjun looks like a lost writer, missing his beloved.
Chaandaniya is a simple rendition that covers all aspects of drifting apart in love. The music lovers will admire the effort.
2 States is due to release worldwide on April 18 and stars Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt for the first time together on screen. The film is a direct adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel with the same name.
